We believe the best way to break stereotypes is through positive storytelling. As a wogrammer Journalism Fellow you will be a part of inspiring the next generation of women and girls to pursue engineering by showcasing female engineers across a variety of industries. The Wogrammer Journalism Fellowship is an opportunity to help change how capable, competent women are discussed in the media, one story at a time.

You will become a part of wogrammer’s mission to break stereotypes and inspire women and girls to pursue careers in engineering by showcasing real women, telling their stories, and celebrating their accomplishments.

Tell me more about this opportunity:

  • We're looking for writers who are passionate about dispelling stereotypes and can commit to producing 10 inspiring stories. Each story profiles a female engineer’s accomplishments, aspirations and journey.

  • Your stories will be published on this Wogrammer website, our Medium page and will also be promoted on our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn). Our stories reach ~4M readers every year. (Whoa!)

  • You will be invited to special events, such as conferences, tech talks, and local meetups.

  • You will become a member of the Wogrammer community and receive mentorship from amazing women in engineering around the world
